Mourinho wants a big salary increase to sign a new contract

Jose Mourinho is considering signing a new contract with Manchester United, but will not do so if he feels that the conditions of his performance in the club and the current state are reflected under his orders.

The manager is about to fulfill the three-year contract he agreed in the summer of 2016. In his first season at Manchester United, Mourinho has won two major trophies, the EFL Cup and the Europa League. The latter's request caused the club to return from the Champions League after its predecessor, Louis van Gaal's side, could lead to fifth place.

Mourinho earns around 15 million pounds a year, but believes he wants a substantial improvement in his salary package and incentives for success he has experienced and reflects the evolution of the team under his command.

Mourinho was last season followed by a good start. United is second in the Premier League in Manchester City by two points, above their group after the Champions League, two games with a maximum of six points and continue their defense of the next week's EFL Cup in Swansea City .
